Arthur Perry, Secretary

Arthur "Art" Perry has been a Director of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District since 1992. He has served several terms as President, Vice President, and Board Secretary. Director Perry graduated from Costa Mesa High School in 1964. He was an Activities Director, Athletic Director, coach, and teacher at Estancia High school from 1970 until his retirement in June 2010.

Director Perry was selected as the Register’s Orange County Golf Coach of the Year in 1989, 1990, and 1991, as his teams went on to capture three CIF Southern Section golf titles. He also served as a football, basketball, softball, and baseball coach in the community since graduating from high school. Director Perry has been actively involved in various community groups and organizations throughout his tenure on the District’s Board, including the California Special Districts Association, the Santa Ana River Flood Protection Agency, and the Water Advisory Committee of Orange County. He looks forward to assisting in efforts that will benefit and enhance the future of Costa Mesa, its citizens, and its youth.
