COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT UNVEILS NEW WEBSITE

Costa Mesa, CA — On Thursday, July 1, the Costa Mesa Sanitary District (CMSD) launched its newly designed website with the help of government website developer, Revize. Located at www.cmsdca.gov, the site is intended to be the community’s one-stop-shop for all District-related needs, including solid waste and wastewater service information, recycling and disposal how to’s, and online service requests.

“Our team has spent the past ten months diligently working with our partners at Revize to build a site that is user-friendly and service-oriented to better fit the needs of our residents,” said District Clerk and Public Information Officer, Noelani Middenway.

The new site boasts a high degree of transparency, while keeping information well-organized, practical, and easily accessible to visitors. Features like the homepage mega menu, alerts, quick links, and news reel allow visitors to find what they’re looking for in mere seconds.

“Given the crucial role that special districts like ours play in protecting public health, it is essential that our website clearly communicates up-to-date information to the public,” said Board President Bob Ooten.

Revize is a leading government web design company that works with a multitude of townships, counties, and cities across the United States. “We’ve utilized best practices for CMSD’s website to ensure top performance,” said Revize's Sales and Business Development Director Joseph Nagrant.

In addition to Revize, CMSD works with expert technology partners to make information readily available to the public. The new site integrates unique elements from these partners, such as a Laserfiche public records repository, a BoardDocs agenda and meeting management system, interactive Esri maps, and a mobile service request app called GoCMSD that is available for download from Google Play and the App Store.
